After working with Gourmet Chocolates website and seeing their struggles with everyday easy tasks we decided to offer a complete rebuild of their website
We analysed their daily tasks to see how we can improve their way of working as well as analysed each interaction their customers have with their website. From the point of loading the website to finishing and purchasing a product.

Here at Macbeth Designs we love chocolate and we love pizza, so working with Gourmet Chocolate Pizza is an amazing experience.
We analysed their website to understand all of their fundamentals. Ensuring their new website can house all of the features they need as well as providing a robust and user-friendly experience was our first protocol.
FUNCTIONALITY & UX
With our key objectives and strategy laid out, we initially focused on how the new functionality would fix the current issues.
- Selecting the right navigation helped to form the foundation for the customer experience, for Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Co we kept the classic top menu with drop downs for ease of access for each service. This helps to reduce clicks
- We incorporated a more inviting homepage, featuring a hero image with call to action wording, this helps to improve engagement and usability.
GOOGLE AD & SEO RESULTS
Creating and implementing a winning Google advertising campaign.
Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Co had a few Google Ad campaigns running before we started to help. We analysed these campaigns and tweaked them to see if we can help increase the visibility without driving up their monthly spend. After a few weeks of tweaking we decided that the Google Ad campaigns needed to be fully re-built so we can fully track every click and impression. Our results are below:

WEBSITE DESIGNS RESULTS
Transferring a concept to design, built into a high performance custom WordPress theme.
Taking our wireframe, UX & functionality strategy into the next phase of the project, we constructed the complete design of the Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Co’s website. Implemented the important branding elements, colour palettes and fonts throughout the website to create what would be the final design. However, our main priority is ensuring the website load fast.
So, as we build Gourmet Chocolate Pizza Co.’s’s custom WordPress theme, we strip back any excess code such as JavaScript or CSS that is not needed. Resulting in improved performance, easy management and optimisation. This was an important task, having the ability for easy maintenance means we can keep on top of the websites performance.
